The Sardinia Cycle Route (CS) is a bicycle itinerary project that extends for approximately 1,147 km, of which 1,117 km is on an actual cycle route, and approximately 30 km along a bike+train itinerary. Using a circular route, the itinerary crosses the entire regional territory, passing through all four Sardinian provinces: Sassari, Oristano, Nuoro and Southern Sardinia and the Metropolitan City of Cagliari.
Inserted within the National System of Tourist Cycle Routes (SNCT) in 2017, the CS arises from the studies developed and institutional comparisons carried out by the Sardinia Region as part of the drafting of the Regional Cycling Mobility Plan of Sardinia (PRMCS) and the contextual Evaluation Strategic Environmental (SEA).
